Why we started

For too long, finding the right bra in Bangladesh meant compromise — guessing your size from a limited wall of imports, settling for whatever fit was "close enough," and an awkward shopping experience that rarely put comfort first. We knew there was a better way.

So in 2024 a small team of women — pattern-makers, fit specialists and a few very particular friends — set out to build a homegrown intimates brand designed around the real bodies of Bangladeshi women. We obsessed over band tension, strap placement, breathable fabrics for our climate, and a size range that actually goes far enough. The result is Sütyen: thoughtfully engineered intimates, sold with warmth and zero judgement.

Comfortable intimates shouldn't cost the earth. We're working step by step toward a lighter footprint, and we'd rather show steady progress than make empty promises.

• Better materials. We're transitioning our core ranges to OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics and recycled nylon, free from harmful substances against your skin.
• Plastic-free post. Our discreet mailers and tissue are recyclable, and we've removed single-use plastic from packaging wherever possible.
• Made to last. Durable construction and a free first exchange mean fewer returns and a longer life for every piece.
• Fair making. We partner with workshops that pay fair wages and maintain safe, women-friendly working conditions.
