What I saw on the factory floor

My name is MD Siam Uddin. I am a textile engineer. I finished my textile diploma in 2014 and started my career in the garment industry, working on T-shirts and clothing for export.

Inside the big factories of Bangladesh, I saw thousands of bras and panties being made every day — soft fabric, careful stitching, strict quality checks. And all of it was packed into boxes for America and Europe. I worked on orders for large international brands, and one question stayed with me: why is this quality not made for our own mothers, sisters and wives?

The answer was simple. Our big factories only take big export orders. A small order for our own market was never their business.

The journey

In 2017 I moved to China. There I found factories that would make good-quality undergarments in smaller quantities. As a textile engineer, I check the fabric, the stitching and the finish myself before anything is sent home.

In 2020, SÜTYEN was born. We started small, serving women directly, one order at a time, and learning what they really want: soft fabric, a comfortable fit and honest prices. In 2026 we opened this website, so every woman in Bangladesh can reach us.

SÜTYEN is my answer to that question from the factory floor: the same care and quality the world gets, now for you — with privacy, with respect, and at a fair price.

We are a young brand, growing step by step, and we would rather be honest than impressive. If something is not right with your order, tell us and we will make it right.
